Entertainment Weekly First Look: Behind the Scenes of Divergent - Scans, Stills, Interviews, & Video

Earlier today, we were blown away when Entertainment Weekly revealed Divergent would be featuring in this week's magazine. We hadn't been expecting treats like this to come so soon as the movie is still filming, but we're very happy that they did!

On the cover is our first still of Tris & Four together, and a hint of what is inside, a report from the set in Chicago and exclusive photos.

The treats didn't end there. Christmas came early as scans of the new stills featured inside and an amazing behind the scenes video became available. We've posted everything below, including a transcript, in one master post for you to check out.

New Poster + Trailer for 'The Spectacular Now'

New poster and (finally) a trailer for The Spectacular Now movie starring Shailene & Miles (Our Tris & Peter)! This looks awesome. We'll totally be seeking it out.

From MTV: Before they hop aboard the "Divergent" train as Dauntless nemeses, actors Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller will find love in "The Spectacular Now."
Based on the novel by Tim Tharp and written for the screen by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber — whom you may know as the men behind the Joseph Gordon-Levitt charmer "(500) Days of Summer" — "The Spectacular Now" follows hard-partying high-school senior Sutter (Miles Teller), who's just living in the moment ... whiskey tumbler and all.

But as this MTV News exclusive trailer shows, things change for Sutter when he's dumped by his popular girlfriend (Brie Larson) and discovered by Aimee (Woodley) passed out on a stranger's lawn. The two begin a tentative friendship (they do come from different social strata, after all), but as relationships of this sort are wont to do, it quickly evolves into so much more.

"Do you not see that I'm bad for you?" Sutter pleads with Aimee after she declares her love for the aimless teen. "You need to get away from me." Can a future exist for the young loves outside of the spectacular now? (Continued)

Check out these pictures of Divergent filming on the Abnegation set and on the streets of Chicago this weekend, they're probably some of the best ones we've seen yet, capturing real action shots and members of the cast, including Jai Courtney, Shailene Woodley, Theo James, & Mekhi Phifer, and Director Neil Burger. Shailene Woodley & Miles Teller at The Spectacular Now Screening in LA

Shailene Woodley & Miles Teller were at the LA Film Fest last night for the screening of The Spectacular Now movie they both star in. They also took part in a Q&A session with various other cast/crew members including director James Ponsoldt; screenwriters Michael H. Weber & Scott Neustadter. More pictures + videos after the jump.

MORE FOUR! Four 'Divergent' Short Stories From Four's Perspective To Be Released

Update: Date of first eBook changed from Sep 24th to Sep 3rd!

Earlier today, we made the announcement on twitter that there would be FOUR Divergent short stories released from FOUR's perspective. The covers haven't been released yet so we've made some mock-ups above.

From HarperTeen: "More Four! Fans of the Divergent series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Veronica Roth will be thrilled by "The Transfer," the first of four new short stories told from Four’s perspective. Each brief story explores the world of the Divergent series through the eyes of the mysterious but charismatic Tobias Eaton, revealing previously unknown facets of his personality, backstory, and relationships."

The four stories will all be in ebook format, before eventually being released in one bind-up paperback edition: Four: A Divergent Story Collection, available on February 11 2014. SET PICTURES: Divergent Filming at the University of Chicago (June 16)

Divergent filming equipment was spotted at the University of Chicago today, along with actors/extras in the white coats they use to cover the costumes. We're not sure what scenes are being filmed here, but fans were guessing either shots for the school, or something Erudite/Erudite HQ related.

SET PICTURES: Dauntless, Theo James, Shailene Woodley, & Veronica Roth On Set (June 15)

Plenty of action on the set of the Divergent movie today. The Dauntless took to the streets, looking armed and badass. Author Veronica Roth was visiting the set and signed books for some lucky fans. Shailene Woodley appeared and posed for pictures, and the elusive Theo James was spotted in the make-up chair. Check out the pictures below.

FAN ENCOUNTER: Theo James Signs Fans Divergent Books On Set

theshadowhunters: I MET THEO JAMES..... AGAIN!!!! They let me and a 4 other fans go onto set where we met theo!!! We talked to him for. Like 10 minutes and he signed my book... TWICE!!! He was in his costume so we couldn't take any pictures but the photographer did and will send us them later!!!! Ahhhh #divergent

We noticed this new style of title treatment being used by HarperCollins, and it also featured on posters at a recent Veronica Roth signing. Could this be the official new logo?

SET PICTURES + VIDEO: Divergent Filming on the Abnegation Set (June 13)

A round up of all the set pictures & videos from filming today. Big thanks to the fans who shared them with us. We have some pretty cool shots from what we've come to call 'Abnegation Village', we wont go into what scene we think they're filming to avoid spoilers, but if you've read the book, you'll have a pretty good idea. We have a few glimpses of Shailene/Tris, and even one with Ashley Judd/Natalie! The videos of filming are amazing, make sure you check them out.
